As a primary orientation piece for citizens and families, the Métis Nation of Alberta welcome booklet required a comprehensive editorial overhaul. The legacy publication suffered from fractured information architecture, disjointed typography, and an undefined color system. The challenge was to re-engineer the dense document into a cohesive, culturally resonant publication that balances intuitive readability with organizational prestige.
The Solution
Clear typographic hierarchy, purposeful white space, and targeted color-blocking transform dense community information into an inviting, easily navigable publication.
The Execution
Strict adherence to a multi-column grid and calibrated typographic rules established effortless visual continuity across every spread. The finished booklet balances dense program information with breathing room, delivering a dignified, polished print publication that citizens can navigate with ease.
